Charter School Blooms for Indian Students in the Arizona Desert
Letter from Principal
Hello Everyone,
Recently the school bought a chicken coop to house two chickens. These are chickens that the school hatched in a science project last year. Their new home is in front by the Tortoise Habitat. All the classes are helping to take care of the chickens which are laying eggs every day. Please come by and visit with the chickens.
The children are completing their final tests for the year over the next two weeks. The results will be available from the teachers. We are testing all the children in reading and math. I know all the children have worked very hard to meet their grade level requirements this year.
Currently, the office staff is taking enrollments for the Summer Kindergarten Readiness program. This is a one month program for all children who will be entering kindergarten in the Fall. It is an exciting program and will ensure a successful transition to kindergarten. Please check with Renee of Robin for more information on this FREE program. All children will receive breakfast and lunch.
The school is preparing for the Summer School Program. The children will have opportunities to work on academics and participate in enrichment activities that include culture, space, karate, Girl Scouts and Creative writing. Please fill out the enrollment form or ask the school to send you forms for your children to attend this amazing program. All children will receive breakfast and lunch. Once we have the enrollment information, a bus schedule will be developed and sent out to all enrolled families.
As the year ends, the office staff still has several clothing items and glasses that have been left this year. Please check with the office staff before the year ends. Once school is out, the items will be donated to the Youth Home.
Finally, the school staff is continuing to enroll children for next year. Please ask for an enrollment package or if you have one, please drop it off in the office. Every child needs an updated enrollment package on file for next year.
Until Next Week,
Jacquelyn
